![]() Yet this girl took him for granted all the time, when it was obvious he would walk through fire for her! I wanted to shake her so often during the drama. One of the saddest pieces I've ever heard was played when my favorite character of the faithful bodyguard (Lee Jung Jae) to the lead female character in Sandglass (1995) perished by being beaten by thugs with baseball bats, to save the life of the woman he has loved since she was a young girl when he had saved her life after a kidnapping, and then at other times in the future too. Most of the time they are far more outstanding than ANYTHING Hollywood has produced in years!! I have felt for YEARS that K-drama composers never get enough credit for continually producing, year after year after year, outstanding soundtracks for the dramas. They stay with you, long after the drama is over. ![]() ![]() There are many pretty tunes in the K-dramas of course but I am always on the lookout for pieces that are even MORE than just pretty. I am a sucker for collecting haunting pieces of music. ![]() Which do you consider the saddest, most plaintive K-drama OST music themes you've heard? They could be love themes, conflict themes, tension themes, death themes, etc. ![]()
